Harold Aaron, 80, Russell County, KY (1943-2024) Harold G. Aaron, of Russell Springs, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024 in Lexington. He was 80 years of age. At an early age, he was baptized and was later married at the Bernard Ridge Church of God. He was a farmer and a carpenter, who in earlier times, had enjoyed fishing and coon hunting. He was a good husband and father, a very generous man, willing to help those in need. He was born April 12, 1943, in Russell County, son of the late Luther and Cletta Luttrell Aaron. He is survived by His wife of 60 years, Carolyn Dunbar Aaron Sons, Ronnie (and Tracy) Aaron, of Russell Springs, and Brian (and Kelly) Aaron, of Russell Springs Daughter, Teresa (and Steve) McFall, of Jamestown Brothers, Bruce (and Brenda) Aaron, of New Castle, Indiana, Paul (and Marilyn) Aaron, of Russell Springs and Joe (and Sandy) Aaron, of Russell Springs Sisters, Jerlene Nice, of Salem, Indiana, Peggy Johnson, of Russell Springs, Debbie (and Darris) Bennett, of Russell Springs, and Grace (and George) Patty, of Salem, Indiana Grandchildren, Rachel (and Steven French) McFall, Ben McFall, Lucas McFall, Katelyn (and Chance) Montgomery, Cameron (and Star Marcum) Aaron, Kerigan Aaron, Nicholas Aaron and Nathan Aaron Great-grandchildren, Jaxton Montgomery, Oakley Aaron, Maelee Montgomery and Brynlee French and a host of nephews, nieces and other family members Along with his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Grover Johnson and Don Nice. Funeral services are 12noonCT, Monday, March 4, 2024, at Bernard Ridge Church of God, with Bro. Eric Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Bernard Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ben McFall, Lucas McFall, Cameron Aaron, Nicholas Aaron, Nathan Aaron and Chance Montgomery. Visitation will be after 9 until time of service.
