Adair Democratic Woman's Club installs Cynthia Rowe as President

Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer also installed; club is offering scholarship; membership drive is underway

The Adair County Democratic Woman's Club has installed Cynthia Rowe as president for 2006-2007.

The installation came at the regular meeting of the club on January 12, 2006.


Others installed were Vice President Martha Martin, Secretary Evelyn Phelps, and Treasurer Marsha Walker.The club will be offering a $500 scholarship again this year. Applications may be obtained by calling Cynthia Row at 270-384-5431.

This scholarship is open to a registered Democrat or a student who plans to register Democratic upon becoming of age. Both male and female applicants are welcome to seek the scholarship.

The club is also taking memberships for the year. Dues are only $5.00 and may be given to any officer of the club or mailed to Vicki Pike, 3011 Burkesville RD, Columbia, KY 42728.
