National cellular outage affecting local customers on Thursday From Mike Keltner, Director Adair Co. Emergency Management As most have already learned there is a cellular outage nationwide. In our area, AT&T and sub-carriers that use AT&T towers seem to be impacted. AT&T is encouraging users to activate WiFi calling if you have WiFi available. This will allow calls to be placed on your device. On the iPhone this is found under "Settings / Cellular / Sim Options or WiFi calling". Consult your phone manual for this option on other devices. (Typically found under cellular options). Sub-carriers and other cellular issuers may not have this option. This story was posted on 2024-02-22 12:05:09
