Marjorie Hovious England, 92, Adair Co., KY native (1931-2024) Marjorie Hovious England of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Luther Alvin Hovious and Ethel Taylor Hovious, was born September 3, 1931, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 5:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in Campbellsville. She was 92 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Jim Collison, III. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 11amET until 1pmET on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church. Marjorie was a retired periodicals librarian at Campbellsville University. She united in marriage to Ira England, Jr. January 23, 1953 and he preceded her in death March 3, 1988. She had a strong spirit, enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to read. Marjorie is survived by one son, Gary England (Diane) of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren: Robbie England of South Carolina, Roger England of Delaware, Veronica England Lobb (John) of Louisville, Wayne England (Tara) of Mt. Washington, Adam England (Julie) of Campbellsville, Michael England (Stephanie) of Canada and Alex England (Logan) of Georgetown; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two sons: Perry England September 19, 1991 and Byron Douglas "Doug" England July 31, 2017 and one brother and three sisters: Ben McCloud, Mary Hovious White, Joyce Tucker and Jo Ann Hovious. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
