Melissa Passmore, 66, Russell County, KY (1957-2024)

Melissa R. Passmore, 66, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 at home.

Melissa was born in Russell Springs, KY on July 25, 1957, a daughter of the late Mary Ellen (Ford) and Walter A. Russell.


Melissa is survived by:

Her husband, Dennville Passmore, of Russell Springs, KY.

two daughters, Jamie (Benjamin) Foster, of Russell Springs, and Amy (Brad) Clouse, of Glasgow, KY.

a son, Barry (Jackie) Passmore, of Russell Springs, KY.

a sister, Brenda (Delvin) Wilson, of Russell Springs, KY.

brother, Vernon (Midge) Russell, of Jamestown, KY.

She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one on the way as well as other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Johnny Dale Passmore, sisters Paula Crawhorn, Sandra Polston, Linda Brummett, Betty Buckler, brothers Wallace, Ollace, Douglas, James, and Earl Russell.

Funeral Service will be held 11amCT on Friday, February 23rd at Bethel Baptist Church in Dunnville, KY with Bro. Delvin Wilson officiating. Friends may visit after 5 Thursday.

Burial in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Nick Blankenship, Ricky Wolbert, Jarred Hadley, James Patton, Michael Grimsley, and Donnie Helton.
