Larry McQueary, 73, Russell County, KY (1950-2024)

Larry McQueary, age 73, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Saturday, February 17 2024 at his residence.

He was a member of Royville Friendship Church, a heavy equipment operator and a farmer.


He was born on Wednesday, August 30 1950, in Russell County, Kentucky, the son of Tina Flanagan McQueary and Ruby McQueary.

Survivors include:

His wife, LaDonna McQueary of Russell Springs.

1 Son, Scott (Kelly Malone) McQueary, of Russell Springs;

2 Brothers: Jimmy McQueary, spouse Jeanie, and Ronald McQueary, spouse Wanda, of Russell Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Tina Flanagan McQueary, one sister Vivian Eastham and two brothers, Glenville and Royce McQueary.

Pallbearers: Ryan McQueary, Jeremy McQueary, Chris McQueary, Mike Popplewell, Kevin Bennett and David Turner.

Funeral services will be 10amCT Tuesday, February 20 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs. Visitation will be 5pmCT Monday. Interment will be in Russell Springs Cemetery, 1516 Lakeway Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Officiating: Bro. Corey Hayes and Bro. Charles Edwards.
