Linda Montgomery, 53, Taylor County, KY (1970-2024) Linda Gail Montgomery was born May 25, 1970, in Taylor County, KY to the late Richard A. (Red) Smith and Shirley Burris Smith. She departed this life Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at her home, having attained the age of fifty-three years, eight months and nineteen days. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Ladies Chapel Church. She was an Independent Contractor and a paralegal. She was united in marriage to Alan Montgomery, who survives. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one brother: Richard Alan (Bubba) Smith. Besides her husband Alan Montgomery, she is also survived by two daughters: Jacqueline and Kimberly Montgomery of Indiana, a special adopted daughter: Jessica Harris of Greensburg, one brother: Thomas Edward Jones of Somerset, several grandchildren, friends, and relatives. Funeral services for Linda Smith Montgomery will be 2pmCT Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis and Bro. Jordan Abell officiating. The burial will follow in the Ladies Chapel Cemetery in Green County. Pallbearers: Louis Gaddie, Stanley Gaddie, Joe Gaddie, Steve LoBue, Sean Gaddie and Jed Gaddie.
