Gloria Miller, Russell Springs, KY (1950-2024) Gloria J. Miller, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, entered eternal rest on February 12, 2024 peacefully at home. She was born on November 16, 1950, in Russell County to the late Hollis and Irene Burton Jasper. Gloria was passionate about her family, social justice, music, and reading. She reveled in the serenity of sitting on the beach and gazing out over the ocean. Gloria was deeply dedicated to her profession as a teacher and guidance counselor, and finished her career in administration for the Russell County Board of Education as technology coordinator. Survivors include her devoted husband of 51 years, Larry Neil Miller, daughter Holly Walker of Louisville, KY (Matt), son Jamison Miller of Colorado Springs, CO (Krishanna), and cherished grandchildren Alayna Bearb, Molly Kate Walker, Hayden Walker, and Hendrix Miller. She is also survived by her sisters Phyllis Rzeszowski (Jerry), Carolyn White (Lonnie), Jeannie Despain (Phil), and Becky Ivy (Jim). A celebration of life will be held at 11amCT Friday, February 16, 2024, at Russell Springs Christian Church, with Bro. Carroll Egnew and Bro. Donnie Emerson officiating. Gloria will be laid to rest in Bethlehem Cemetery in Russell Springs. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 Thursday February 15, at the church, and will resume Friday at 9 until time of services. Ashley White, Craig Dean, Brently Miller, Jared Popplewell, Theodore Eysenbach and Jonathon Grider will serve as pallbearers.
