Helen C. Murray, 69, Adair Co., KY (1954-2024) Helen Carla Murray of Glensfork passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was 69 years old. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Dwan Hadley officiating. Burial will follow in the Grant Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue Monday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. She was born on May 16, 1954, in Adair County, KY to the late Lilburn Tarlton and Ella Velma Bradshaw Murray. She was also preceded in death by a sister Willie Ann Murray. Ms. Murray was a member of the Mt. Zion Community Church and enjoyed playing Bingo, flower gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include two children Shelly Murray Kerns (Ricky) and Angie Gayle Murray (Brent Lasley) both of Columbia, KY; four grandchildren Vanessa and Gary Cooper, Randi Jordan (Josh), and Kenzi Kerns (Cheyenne); a step grandson Jakobe Lasley; three great grandchildren Khloe Crawhorn, Kyran Cooper, and Kenley Faye Kerns; two sisters Debbie Taylor (Steve) of Breeding, KY, and Virginia Redmon (Bobby) of Jamestown, KY. Pallbearers will be Tony Hadley, Ricky Kerns, Brent Lasley, Steven Burton, Tom Bunch, and Jakobe Lasley. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Taylor, Bobby Redmon, Brandon Grant, and Darren Taylor.
