Bob Moss, 77, Gradyville, KY (1946-2024) Robert Regan "Bob" Moss of Wilmore, and formerly of the Gradyville Community of Adair County, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the Thomson Hood Veterans Home in Wilmore, KY. He was 77 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Johnny Hood officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by VFW Post 6097. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3pmCT until 7pmCT, and will continue Friday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. He was born in Gradyville, KY on October 28, 1946, to the late Eugene and Betty Barnett Moss. He was a member of the 3trees Church and a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U. S. Army. Bob was the former caretaker for the Union Cemetery and enjoyed fishing, collecting arrowheads, stamps, coins, and antiques, and Hotrod Cars. His great love was spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife Reta Moss of Bardstown, KY; two children Carla Kemp (T) of West Chester, OH and Ryan Moss (Trista) of Bardstown, KY; three grandchildren Cora Ryan, Lilly Eleanor, and Jake Oliver Moss and a special cousin David Hutchison (Leisa) and their son Ben. Bro. Johnny Hood will be officiating and pallbearers will be Jamie Richard, Barry Stotts, Dereck Richard, Ben Ballou, John Partin, and Brian Kemp. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Mike Griffitt, Danny Myers, Donnie Burris, Barry Hamlett, David Revis, Ben Martin, John Hatton, Bruce Cundiff, and Phillip Coffey. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or the Thomson Hood Veterans Home. These donations can be left at the funeral home.
