Jimmy Huddleston, 65, Columbia, KY (1958-2024)

Jimmy Huddleston of Columbia died on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 3:40 A.M. at TJ Health Columbia, surrounded by his family and friends. He was 65 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Craig Huddleston officiating. Burial will follow in Melson Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 4pmCT on Monday.


He was born February 14, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. Jimmy professed his faith in Christ, was a proud beef cattle farmer, an avid gun and knife trader and a retired roofer. He was preceded in death by his father, Avalee Huddleston on January 31, 2024.

Survivors include:
  • His wife - Gail McClister Huddleston of Columbia
  • One son and daughter-in-law - Joshua Lee and Olivia Huddleston of Jamestown
  • One daughter and son-in-law - Natasha and Brian McElroy of Russell Springs
  • His mother - Goldie Shelton Huddleston of Columbia
  • Two brothers - Jackie Huddleston of Columbia and Craig Huddleston of Knifley
  • Two sisters - Carol Roy of Russell Springs and Anita Begley of Columbia
  • Four grandchildren - Abby, Cora, Carter and Willow
  • Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the American Cancer Society which can be left at the funeral home
