How do you feel about nepotism in local government? : Most want less

Most who voted in poll want rules on nepotism strengthened; contacts for Adair County officials who would rule on matter listed in this article

When the poll asking the question,"How do you feel about nepotism in local government?" ended, there was a clear cut majority who favored strengthening the rules on nepotism.


Those favoring the strengthening rules and reducing hiring of kinfolks in local government cast 59.38% of the vote. When those favoring at least keeping rules as they are, but follow them strictly, 15.63% to the majority wanting stricter rules, more than three fourths, 75.01% were against weakening rules against nepotism.

Those favoring making it easier to hire qualified relatives were able to muster only 22.92%.The poll results are follow below.
