Tennis: LWC Women face Southeast Missouri State Tuesday The No. 14-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team makes its Spring debut on Tuesday when they travel to Paducah, Kentucky, to take on NCAA Division I Southeast Missouri State at the Lone Oak Tennis Complex at 1pmCT. Tuesday's matchup is the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The Blue Raiders are 2-0 this season after winning a pair of matches at the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament back in October. Lindsey Wilson defeated Campbellsville (KY) 6-1 and won the tournament with a 6-1 victory over Cumberlands. Last season, the Blue Raiders went 15-7 and 9-1 in the MSC. Lindsey Wilson won the MSC Tournament and reached the second round of the NAIA Tournament. Reshma Challarapu returns for the Blue Raiders after earning NAIA Second Team All-American and First Team All-Conference honors last season. Darija Mladenovic also earned First Team All-Conference honor a season ago while Mayara Gisone and Heyka Rodriguez earned Honorable Mention honors. This past fall, Anastasiia Vorobiova captured the ITA Southeast Singles title. Southeast Missouri State enters Tuesday's matchup with an 0-3 record. The Redhawks fell to Western Kentucky 5-2 on Feb. 2. Southeast Missouri State went 17-3 last season and won the Ohio Valley Conference regular season and tournament titles.
