Patricia Vivian Blakeman, 91, Greensburg, KY (1932-2024)

Patricia Vivian Walsh Blakeman of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late William Patrick Walsh and Lena Alice Walsh, was born on Monday, April 18, 1932 and departed this life on Friday, February 2, 2024. She was 91 years, 9 months, and 15 days of age.

She was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer and a retired Custodian from the Green County School System.


Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Durham Blakeman on March 11, 2013 having united in marriage on January 29, 1954.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Virginia A. Judd of Greensburg, Libby and Todd Cissell of Campbellsville, Tracy and Wes Clark of Greensburg; grandchildren: Blake Judd, Joshua Blakeman, Austin Oudomparamy, Justin Blakeman, Jeremy Blakeman, Brittani Cissell, Hunter Clark, Rebecca Harsch, Jack Harsch; seven great-grandchildren; her siblings and their spouses: John Lewis Walsh of Michigan, Lawrence and Terry Walsh of Greensburg, Rose Anne and Bill Bertram of Edge Wood, William Patrick and Denise Walsh of Campbellsville; a daughter-in-law: Daisy Blakeman of Florida; sisters-in-law: Judy Blakeman, Marlene Judd, and Connie Blakeman; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a son: Joseph P. Blakeman; a brother: Robert Walsh; five brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Robert Bobby and Hattie Blakeman, William Billy and Norene Blakeman, Lydia Anne Gaunce, Lynn Taylor Blakeman, Katherine and Walton Shuffett, Charles Hughett Blakeman, and Richard Dickie Blakeman.

The funeral services for Patricia Vivian Blakeman will be conducted at 11amCT Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Campbellsville. Bro. Dale Curry officiating. Visitation is requested from 4 until 8 Monday and after 7 Tuesday until time of the funeral service.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Holy Redeemer Church Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
