Janice Vine, 75, Russell County, KY (1948-2024) Janice Kay Bell Vine, 75, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, January 27th, at Fair Oaks Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Janice was born in Jamestown, KY on March 20, 1948, a daughter of the late Lucille (Brown) and Joe Bell. Janice is survived by: a daughter, Amanda (Calvin) Overstreet, of Russell Springs; a son, Jeffrey (Amanda) Brumley, of Russell Springs; 2 sisters, Rita Guffey Chaney, of Russell Springs, and Christine Norris, of Jamestown, KY; sister-in-law, Shirley Bell, of Jamestown, 5 brothers, Roger, Eddie, Andy, and Kenneth Bell all of Jamestown and Phillip Bell of Elizabethtown, KY; 4 grandchildren Robert and Gianna Overstreet, Noah and Alena Brumley, as well as other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Robert (Shorty) Vine, who passed away in 2012, 5 sisters Alma Jones, Dorothy Wesley, Bessie Elmore, Mary Brown, and Anna Ray, and 1 brother JD Bell. A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday 5pmCT at Cross Creek Church in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Tony Stephens officiating. H. E. Pruitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
