Ariel Gordon, mother and babies perish in Casey fire Obituaries for Ariel, 29; Bitty, age 2; and Lillie Bug, age 20 months. Ariel Dawn Gordon, age 29, of Bethelridge, along with her son, Sabastion Burle "Bitty" Collins, age 2, and her daughter, Lillie Mary Grace "Lillie Bug" Chesser, age 20 months, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at their home. Born on September 1, 1994, in Shelbyville, Kentucky, Ariel was the daughter of James Lee Gordon of Campbellsville and Grace Bruner Gordon of Bethelridge. In addition to her parents, Ariel is survived by her brothers, Dan S. Bruner and Richard Austin Bruner. She is preceded in death by a brother, Rick S. Bruner. Ariel loved spending time with her children and enjoyed singing country music, just like her Mother. Born on January 30, 2021, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, Sabastion was the son of Ethan Chesser and the late Ariel Dawn Gordon. Born on May 6, 2022, in Somerset, Kentucky, Lillie was the daughter of Ethan Chesser and the late Ariel Dawn Gordon. In addition to their father, both children are survived by their paternal grandparents, Mike and Mary Chesser of Willisburg; and maternal grandparents, Walter Russell Holt and Grace Gordon of Bethelridge and James Lee Gordon of Campbellsville. Both Sabastion and Lillie loved watching Paw Patrol and Ice Age. A memorial service will be held at 2pmET on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12-2. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family in offsetting expenses.
