Jerry Stewart, 60, Casey County, KY (1963-2024)

Jerry Allen Stewart, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024. He was 60.

Jerry provided 25 years of service to Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville. Jerry is remembered as a hard worker and a provider. Being a "Pappy" to his grandchildren brought him such joy. Jerry was a very involved member of First Apostolic Church of Russell Springs.


Born May 4, 1963, he was the son of Winona Trevino Stewart Kinder and the late William Kenneth Stewart. Jerry leaves behind his dear wife, Christina West Stewart, whom he wed June 2, 1988.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Christina West Stewart; his mother, Winona Trevino Stewart Kinder; his son, Justin (Paige) Stewart of Nancy; his daughter, Brittny (Joe) Cox of Liberty; his brothers, Jimmy (Andi) Stewart, Terry (Sandy) Stewart, Mike (Terri) Stewart, Richard (Desiree) Stewart, and John Stewart; his sister, LaDonna Taylor; his granddaughter, Kenzli Greyce Stewart of Russell Springs; and his grandson, Holten Lee-Isaac Cox of Liberty.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, William Kenneth Stewart.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 2pmET at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Naylor and Bro. Randall Cox officiating. Burial to follow in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Stewart, J'ace Luttrell, Richard Stewart, Jimmy Stewart, Terry Stewart, and Joe Cox. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Allen Luttrell Jr., Owen Roy Luttrell, Austin Luttrell, Holten Cox, and Jacob Cox.
