LETTER: DW Swanner calls for spelling check on candidate signs

To Readers ColumbiaMagazine.com
received through "Submit a Story"

Do first impressions count?

Perhaps. First impressions can be discounted, although the first impression may color opinion for a minute.

I wont say who (the name may be incorrect) but I have to ask myself; would I vote for a person running for magistrate who has placed signs up (two on Jamestown Street) that incorrectly spells magistrate?

On the other hand, this could be a clever opponent doing a Daniel Webster smear campaign.

Candidates: Check your signage. One of you owes us a "S."
