Sheila Parson, 71, Columbia, KY (1952-2024) Sheila Jean (Franklin) Parson of Columbia died on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was 71 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Larry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation is requested after 4pmCT on Monday. She was born August 12, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late James A. and Orlena Sneed Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Willard Parson, Jr., one brother, Allen Shirley and one sister, Margaret Reitz. She was a member of New Concord Community Church and a homemaker. Survivors include:
