Letter: Sherriff Chesley Adamson (1850-1910?) my Great Grandfather Jerry Adamson writes: I am Dr. Jerry Adamson of Louisville KY and am researching my Great Grandfather, Chesley Adamson (1850-1910?) who was a sheriff according to my information in your area. I have a photo of him with a large star on his coat as he stands in front of his mule. He left his father in Corydon, Indiana and moved back to Kentucky with his wife at some point. As always, we recommend the Adair Genealogy & History Research Center, located at 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, to begin this sort of research.
