Richie Waddell, 49, Dunville, KY (1974-2024) Richard Terry "Richie" Waddell, of Dunnville, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at his residence. He was 49. Born on August 16, 1974, he was the son of Terry Lee Waddell and Carla Terry. He was a self-employed gate hauler and a member of Dunnville Christian Church. He enjoyed car shows and was a member of the Another Level Car Club. He was an avid University of Louisville Cardinals fan and he enjoyed drag racing, racing four-wheelers, and mud trucks. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Chris Waddell; a sister, Katie Burton; maternal grandfather, Richard Thurman Terry; an aunt, Wilma Gayle (Phillip Jones) Waddell-Jones; and an uncle, Rick (Dawn) Terry. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Versie Terry; and paternal grandparents, Jack Phelps and Eva Wolford Phelps. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Reggie Tipton and Wilma Gayle Waddell-Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8pmET on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland In Memory of Versie Terry to 100 Parkway Dr. Somerset, KY 42503. Pallbearers will be Brandon Eads, Ben Murphy, Shane Richardson, Greg Hansford, Chad Lee, Eric Wolford, and Chris Maynard.
