Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 28. Wind chill values as low as -11. Southwest wind 7 to 13 mph. Wednesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 15. Wind chill values as low as 7. South wind 6 to 9 mph.


Thursday - Snow showers likely after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35. South wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

So, this is what the weather report's 'partly sunny' looked like around 9amCT in Columbia on this second day of the first big freeze and snow of 2024. My cousin Beth in Gallatin, TN bragged that they got eight inches of snow there - she's not coming out of her house til spring. Has anyone measured the inches we got around here?
