Glenna Bailey, 90, Columbia, KY (1933-2024)

Glenna N. (Redmon) Bailey of Columbia passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at her residence. She was 90 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Richard Lehman and Bro. Vitis Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue Saturday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.


She was born in Adair County on May 20, 1933, to the late Elvin and Callie Rooks Redmon.

Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Beulah Chapel Brethren in Christ Church and enjoyed worshiping her Lord and Savior and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Dewey Bailey of Columbia, KY; one son Danny E. Bailey of Columbia, KY; a sister Gladys Willis of Columbia, KY; seven grandchildren Andrea Rogers (Michael) of Columbia, KY, Stacey Lenau (Emmanuel) of Vass, NC, Zack Bailey (Mandy) of Columbia, KY, Ashley Noyola (Javier) of Columbia, KY, Jennifer Bailey (Jason Meador) of Glasgow, KY, Alex Bailey (Joie) of Russell Springs, KY, and Cody Bailey (Jessica) of Columbia, KY; eleven great grandchildren Denise Anderson, Keegan Anderson, Braxton Jessie, Allie Bailey, Ava Noyola, Bishop Bailey, Brooks Bailey, Kayte Lenau, Blair Bailey, Edwin Lenau, and Adeline Bailey and a special caregiver Shelia Keltner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Andrea Jane Bailey, a son Ricky Bailey, a grandson Kai Bailey, a sister Sophie Jane Redmon, five brothers Kenneth, Oliver, Melvin, Milton, and Albert Redmon.

Pallbearers will be Zach Bailey, Alex Bailey, Cody Bailey, Keegan Anderson, Braxton Jessie, Bishop Bailey, and Brooks Bailey. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrea Rogers, Stacey Lenau, Ashley Noyola, Jennifer Bailey, Edwin Lenau, Denise Anderson, Allie Bailey, Ava Noyola, Kate Lenau, Blair Bailey, and Adeline Bailey.
