Delphia Ann Savage Garrett, 74, Metcalfe County, KY

Delphia Ann Savage Garrett, age 74, of Summer Shade, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 8, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on Tuesday, May 24, 1949.

She was a 1966 graduate of Metcalfe County High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Savage and Thelma (Grider) Savage and her sister, Ethel Maye Savage.


She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard Garrett; two sons, Todd Garrett of Huntsville, Al and Brian Garrett (Susan) of Edmonton; two granddaughters, Brilyn Bell (Logan) of Summer Shade and Bailee Garrett (Fiance, Elijah Brown) of Edmonton; and her yorkie, Betsy.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 1pmCT in the chapel of Butler Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Grider officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Randolph, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, after 5 at the funeral home.
