Joyce Lee Ettner, 70, Russell County, KY Joyce Lee Ettner, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024. She was 70 years of age. Joyce was a member of Pleasant Hill Community Church. She lived with God as her guide, her rock, the center focus of her life. Born February 11, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Pauline Coffey Womack. She knew the importance of love and trusting in the Lord, and she shared her thoughts with her family in letters that she wrote to them. "God has given me a lot in my lifetime but the best thing He blessed me with was a heart full of love." "God knows exactly what He is doing - He lets us go through rough times - but it sure makes us enjoy and treasure the good times." "Please always love one another and stay close. It is so very important." And maybe her most important instruction of all," Trust in the Lord. I do." Joyce leaves behind many wonderful memories and a beautiful legacy of love for her family and friends to treasure. Survivors include her beloved husband, Darin Ettner, of Jamestown, whom she wed September 18, 2005; two sons, Michael (and Samantha) Ettner, and Kyle Ettner (and Jewel Arnce), both of Indianapolis, Indiana; a daughter, Paula Segebarth, of Peoria, Arizona; one brother, Rodney (and Lisa) Womack, of Indianapolis, Indiana; and four grandchildren, Gracie Segebarth, Maggie Segebarth, Harper Ettner, and Kyson Ettner. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a son, Dougie Horsley; and a sister, Barbara Womack. A Celebration of Joyce's life will be held at 6pmET Friday, January 12, 2024, at Russell Springs Christian Church, with Brother Carroll Egnew and Brother Dennis Price officiating.
