Mike McKinney files for re-election as Adair CO Surveyor

There are now 33 Republicans seeking a total of 15 offices; there are 11 Democrats seeking a total of 10 offices. Filing deadline only 26 days away for party nominations

Mike McKinney, Adair County Surveyor, has filed for re-election in the office of the Adair County Court Clerk Ann Melton.

McKinney, the incumbent, is a Republican.


At present he has no opposition in either party.

The Republicans now have 33 candidates seeking 15 offices.

Eleven Democrats are seeking a total of 10 offices.
Deadline for partisan primary filing is January 31, 2006

There are now 26 days until the filing deadline for party primaries. Candidates have until January 31, 2005, to file for the Adair County primaries. City, school, and Soil Conservation Candidates have until early August, 2006, to file for those offices.
Prospective candidates who were Independents as of December 31, 2005, have until early April, 2006, to file Intention to Be a Candidate, and must file in the office in early August, 2006.
