Brent Alan Jeffries, 62, Metcalfe Co. family (1961-2024) Brent Alan Jeffries of Glasgow, Kentucky, son of Larry K. Jeffries and Mavis J. Ferguson Jeffries of Savoyard, Kentucky, was born on Wednesday, April 19, 1961 in Glasgow and passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at T.J. Samson Hospital. He was 62 years, 8 months, and 15 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a welder for Felker Brothers. He also was very interested in the weather and was a "certified" weather watcher. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife of 19 years, Terri Ray Jeffries, having united in marriage on April 30, 2004. He is also survived by three step sons and their spouses: Clay and Beverly Jones of Columbia, Johnathan and Tina Jones of Green County, Jason and Monica Jones of Glasgow; seven step grandchildren: Natalie Jones, Kylie Jones, Kinsley Jones, Grayson Jones, William Jones, Jackson Jones; a brother and sister-in-law: David and Lesia Jeffries of Savoyard; a sister and brother-in-law: Kathy and Danny Smith of Savoyard; nieces and nephews: Peyton Houchens, Eli Smith, Zackary Smith, Evyn Smith, Madilyn Smith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Willmoth Jeffries, Agnes Jeffries, Clifton Ferguson, Mabel Ferguson. The funeral services for Brent Alan Jeffries will be conducted at 1pmCT Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Jeffries Cemetery. Bro. Travis Vaughn officiating. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Jeffries Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
