Lagermanns presented with The Achilles Award

Bill and Chris Lagermann were presented with "The Achilles Award" at the Edmonton Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Banquet.

The award is named for their beautiful Great Pyrenees dog that attended most outdoor events in Edmonton. Everyone wanted a picture taken with Achilles!

He was well loved in the community and sadly suffered a "twisted gut" and died after emergency surgery right before Christmas 2022.

Cindy Cassady suggested the award that "does not come with ribbons or money but the acknowledgement of a good deed or deeds by a person, persons, or group in the community."

The Lagermann's are active in the community, their church (Red Lick Church) and the American Legion where Bill is the Commander and Chris helps "behind the scenes."
