Bobby Shannon Mullikin, 51, Taylor County, KY

Bobby Shannon Mullikin of Campbellsville, Kentucky, formerly of Greensburg, son of the late Larry Mullikin and Martha Lee Paxton Mullikin, was born on Sunday, May, 14, 1972 and passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. He was 51 years, 7 months, and 5 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.


He worked as an Electrician for Komatsu Mining Company and had an Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, dirt track racing, and was a major sports fan, especially for the Louisville Cardinals.

Survivors include a daughter: Ashton Mullikin of Greensburg; an aunt and uncle: Nancy and Don Sidebottom of Greensburg; a brother: James Mullikin of Louisville; special friends: Melissa Netherland and Silas Netherland both of Campbellsville.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandmother: Flossie Beard; and an aunt: Patricia Rogers.

A graveside service for Bobby Shannon Mullikin will be held at 12noonCT Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Greensburg. Bro. Roger Robertson officiating. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Bethlehem Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home or graveside.

PALLBEARERS: Spencer Sidebottom, Cody Nunn, Junior Embry, Warren Hickerson, Chris Hickerson, Billy Patterson, and Silas Netherland.
