Barbara Sue Foley, 75, Russell County, KY (1948-2023) Barbara Sue Foley, age 75, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Wednesday, December 13 2023 at Her residence. She was a long time employee of Lake Cumberland Housing Agency, a member of Bethlehem Separate Baptist Church and attended Hayes Chapel Community Church. She loved to cook and serve others while never meeting a stranger. She was an avid sports fan and a long time member of the Russell County Homemakers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. She was born on Saturday, September 4, 1948, in Russell Springs, Kentucky, the daughter of Marie Hale Anderson and Arthur Anderson, who has preceded her in death. Survivors include: Husband - Michael E. Foley of Russell Springs, KY 1 Daughter: Susan Adams, spouse Randy, of Russell Springs KY 3 Sons: Jonathan Mark Blakey, of Russell Springs KY, Eric Wayne Blakey, spouse Celestia, of Fallon NV, Warren Kendrick Blakey, spouse Lisa, of Russell Springs KY. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Jacob (Sarah), Logan, Shelby, Johnathon, Colbie, Holly (Brandon) and Katelyn (James), a host of great-grandchildren and two sister in laws, Lavon Anderson of Russell Springs and Ruth Foley of North Carolina. Pallbearers: Jamie Wooten, Charlie Anderson, Marvin Anderson, Keith Anderson, Troy Anderson and Mike Polston. Honorary pallbearers are Logan Adams and Johnathon Blakey and members of Russell County Homemakers. Special music was presented by Bobby Cole and Daniel Wilson. Expression of sympathy are suggested to Bethlehem Cemetery, Hospice of Lake Cumberl Funeral services will be 1pmCT Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
