Edward Lee Milby, Green County, KY (1933-2023)

Edward Lee "Toad" Milby of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Homer Ray Milby and Lillian Morgan Milby, was born on Saturday, April 8, 1933 in Cartwright, Illinois and departed this life on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the Green Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church and attended Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a farmer.


Survived by his wife of 66 years, Anna Jean Rogers Milby having united in marriage on December 21, 1957.

Other survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law: William Lee and Geraldine Milby of Greensburg, Donald Wayne and Ila Gay Milby of Campbellsville; a sister: Patsy Moran of Sand Lick; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers: Leonard Milby, Arey Milby, and Harold Milby; two sisters: Louise Dobson and Marie Mitchell; a brother-in-law: David Moran.

The funeral services will be conducted at 1pmCT Monday, December 18, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Robert Knight will be officiating. Visitation is requested after 10 Monday.

PALLBEARERS: Greg Whitlow, Dale Judd, Timothy Milby, Eddie Bailey, Tommy Bailey, and Clell Lobb.
