Jeffery Cooper, 58, Russell County, KY (1965-2023) Jeffery Allen Cooper, of Jamestown, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at his home. He was 58 years of age. He was a soft spoken, quiet natured man, who was never known to speak an unkind word of anyone. As a younger man, he would go on adventures he would call "walk-abouts". He enjoyed fishing and watching Kentucky ballgames. He was born November 28, 1965, son of Lyle and Deanna Swanson Cooper. He made his profession of faith at a young age at Clear Fork Baptist Church. He is survived by his companion of many years, Ronette Wilson; his parents, Lyle and Deanna Cooper, of Jamestown; his brother, Patrick Cooper (and Angela Edwards), of Mt. Eden; his sister, Pamela (and Kim) Johnson, of Jamestown; his aunt, Mary Ann Haney; his special friends, Rebecca and Shawn Bounds and Makayla and Makenzie Hudson; his nieces, Ameila, Sydney and Angrick; his great-nieces, Addie Grace and Kayleigh Ann; and other family members and friends. Jeffery is preceded in death by his grandparents and his uncle, Richard Swanson. Funeral services are 2pmCT Friday, December 15, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Michael Beck officiating. Interment will follow in Jamestown City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Muir, Kim Johnson, Patrick Cooper, Shawn Bounds, Tanner Carnes and Nathan Roy.
