Patricia South, 75, Metcalfe County, KY (1948-2023) Patricia Ann South of Edmonton, Kentucky, was born on July 20, 1948 in Barren County, Kentucky to the late Shelby and Mary Jo Asbury South. She departed this life on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the Metcalfe Health Care Center in Edmonton having attained the age of 75 years, four months and 18 days. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sulphur Well. She was a registered nurse and was formerly employed by Sky Rehab in Bowling Green. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law: Matthew and Amanda South of Edmonton; one sister and brother-in-law: Becky and Troy Welsh of Center; nieces and nephews: Daniel and Roxanne Finn of West Palm Beach Florida, Mattie and Matt Reed and Cassie and Logan Jessie all of Edmonton; plus a host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be conducted at 11amCT Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the Asbury Center Cemetery. Bishop Don Cooper presiding. Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations to the Asbury Center Cemetery fund, which can be made at the funeral home or Edmonton State Bank. The family wishes to thank the Metcalfe Health Care Center and the T.J. Palliative and Hospice Care staff for their excellent care. Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
