Carolyn Jean Milby, 79, Green County, KY (1944-2023) Carolyn Jean Vaughn Milby of Greensburg, daughter of the late Woodruff Vaughn and Mildred Price Vaughn, was born on Friday, September 15, 1944 and passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023. She was 79 years, 2 months, and 17 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Summersville Baptist Church. She worked at Fruit of the Loom for 30 plus years and as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Green Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation. She united in marriage to Charles Edward Milby on February 1, 1964, who preceded her in death on April 21, 2022. She is survived by a son-in-law: Jonah Sidebottom; two grandchildren: Daniel Sidebottom, Autumn Sidebottom all of the Gabe Community; two brothers and sisters-in-law: William and Janice Vaughn, Donnie and Joyce Ann Vaughn all of Greensburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter: Sharon Lynn Sidebottom; one sister: Lois Ann Arnett Hamilton. The funeral services will be conducted at 10amCT Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. David Vaughn officiating. Visitation is requested from 4 until 8pmCT Tuesday and after 7 Wednesday until time of the service. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home. PALLBEARERS: J.D. Arnett, Tommy Vaughn, Will Vaughn, Ben Vaughn, Steve Lewis, Wade Rogers.
