Jeanette Wolford, 88, Russell County, KY (1935-2023) Jeanette Bottom Wolford, of Russell Springs, passed from this life on November 30, 2023, at the Russell County Hospital. She was 88 years of age. She was born May 3, 1935, in the Royville Community of Russell County. She was the daughter of the late Bert and Tressie Bottom. She was formerly employed by Grider Insurance Agency and as City Clerk of Russell Springs. She was a member of First Baptist Church and attended Faith Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, and talking with friends and relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elba Wolford, three brothers, Raymond Bottom, Veston "Bocky" Bottom, and William "Billy" Bottom, as well as one sister, Janis Holt, and five infant siblings. She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Wolford of Russell Springs, two sons, Joel Wolford and his wife Connie of Frankfort, KY and Eric Wolford and his wife Susan of Russell Springs. Three grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive, as well as a host of dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 2pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Richie Curtis officiating. Visitation will be open to the public beginning Saturday, December 2, at 5pm and will continue until 8. Visitation will continue Sunday, December 3, beginning at 7:30am and will continue until time for funeral services, at the funeral home. Myles Bottom, Terry Waddell, Adam Daniel, Brandon Eads, Adrian Eads, and Dustin Shearer will serve as pallbearers. Special music will be rendered by Erin Wolford. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503, or WHAS Crusade for Children, 520 W.
