View Point at ACMS hosts 14-year-old Adair author Bethany N. Coffey

Bethany N. Coffey, 14-year-old author of 'Moon Beam and the War of the Witch Queen,' at Adair County Middle School's View Point Literary Circle

Ms. Bethany N. Coffey, a freshman at Adair County High School, visited Adair County Middle School's View Point Literary Circle on December 12.


View Point is a new idea spearheaded by media specialist Tammy Rich. The middle school hosts a program once per month during the school day in an effort to promote and encourage reading, and to enrich literacy among the students.

Bethany is also a member of Project Excel, ACHS's Academic Team, and a straight-"A" student. She is the daughter of Dr. Janice Coffey of Columbia. To obtain a copy of her book, access www.bn.com, or you may purchase a copy at most book store chains.
Carla Kirkland is Project Excel Coordinator for the district.
