Maxine Brown, 95, Breeding, KY (1928-2023)

Maxine (Branham) Brown of Louisville, formerly of Breeding, died on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was 95 years old.

A graveside service will be held at 1pmCT on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Fudge Cemetery in Breeding, with Bro. Larry Lemmon officiating. Burial will follow.

There will be no visitation.


She was born March 26, 1928, in Cumberland County, to the late Orbin and Lula McIntyre Branham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kerry Brown on July 11, 2023. She was a member of Kenwood Christian Church in Louisville.

Survivors include:
  • One daughter - Brenda Sanders of Louisville
  • One daughter-in-law - Peggy Brown of Breeding
  • Three grandchildren - Brandie Sanders of Louisville, Michael Brown of Mt. Washington, Sandra Jacobs of Louisville
  • Two great-grandchildren - Benjamin and Trinity Jacobs
