Former Adair Countian Emily Griffitt Anderson reported missing

News reports are being shared that former Adair Countian Emily Griffitt Anderson has been missing from her home in Caldwell County, NC, for a full week. Arial searches have now begun in efforts to spot the vehicle she was driving when last seen, a white Chevy, long-bed pickup with the license plate number XB-8349. She and her husband Jerry Anderson have a holstein business and dairy farm there.

Barbara Shepherd of Columbia remembers working with Emily, "a really nice person", at Aaron Medical Center at one time, and says that later Emily worked for Joe Pyles. Emily's sister is teacher Dee Watson of Columbia.

Emily Griffitt Anderson was last reported seen on December 29, 2005.

Anyone having information is asked to contact the Caldwell County Sheriff at 828-758-2324.

Information will be added here as it becomes available.
