Kenneth Ray Brown, 73, Green County, KY (1950-2023) Kenneth Ray "Skeeter" Brown was born on April 29, 1950 in Adair County, Kentucky to the late Johnny and Corine Brown. He passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 in Greensburg having attained the age of 73 years, six months and 21 days. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life. Skeeter also enjoyed fishing and working on lawnmowers. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law: Tracy and Dennis Wells of Canmer, and Martena Shaw of Campbellsville; one sister who helped care for him: Elizabeth "Libby" Milby of Greensburg; four grandchildren: Nathan Wells and Lindsay Vance of Hart County, Natalee and Clayton Shaw of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren; plus a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Stanley Brown; and one sister: Gail Bennett Hammond. Beyond his love to work, he obtained numerous friends along his journey through life and was well known by many. He will be greatly missed by all. The funeral services will be conducted at 11amCT on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Bell Cemetery. Bro. Finis Berry officiating. Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations to the Dialysis Care Package Fund, which can be made at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Marco Mitchell, Dewey Lesley, Darrin Brown, Gavin Brown, Donald Stone and Steve Stone Honorary Pallbearers: Gaylon Brown, Booie Houk and Marty Calhoun.
