By Tony Rose, Agent for 4-H Youth Development
Adair County Cooperative Extension Service
The Adair County 4-H Program will be holding its 12th 4-H Country Ham Auction at 5:30pmCT on Tuesday, November 16, 2023, at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service located at 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY.
This year we have 30 4-H Youth and 4 Cloverbuds who will be auctioning off their hams. Each youth will design a basket that will go along with the ham they produced. The hams have been produced by the youth as part of their 4-H Country Ham project.
We are looking for people or businesses that would be interested in bidding and purchasing the ham gift baskets at this year's auction. If you are interested in potentially attending as a buyer, please contact Tony Rose at 270-384-2317 or by email at email@example.com.
We hope you will help support our local 4-H youth by participating in our 12th 4-H Country Ham auction. Just show up just before 5:30 pm on November 16 to participate. Rumor has it that the hams are very tasty this year so don't miss out.
Proceeds from the ham auction will be divided as follows:
