Kenneth Ray Pruitt, 77, Green County, KY (1946-2023) Kenneth Ray Pruitt of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Thomas Pruitt and Josie Berry Pruitt, was born on Wednesday, June 19, 1946 in Green County, and departed this life on Friday, November 3, 2023, at his home after a short illness. He was 77 years, 4 months, and 15 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Green Hill Baptist Church. Kenneth was retired from textile and warehousing after 50 plus years of service. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Connie Sue McKinney Pruitt on June 12, 2014, having united in marriage on July 5, 1965. Survivors include two brothers and a sister-in-law: William Pruitt of Campbellsville, and Roy and Zelda Pruitt of Greensburg; a sister: Patricia Goldsmith of Horse Cave; his girlfriend: Jo Ann Price of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Billy Pruitt, Jimmy Pruitt, Ruth Ann Pruitt, Beatrice Cox and Betty Dunham; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Harold Goldsmith, Howard Dunham, and Delane "Bimbo" Cox, Carolyn Pruitt, Bonnie Pruitt, and Phyllis Pruitt. The funeral services for will be conducted at 10amCT Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Steve James officiating. Visitation is requested from 4 - 8 Sunday and after 7 Monday until time of the funeral service.
