Mahlon C. Coblentz, 44, Columbia, KY (1979-2023) Mahlon C. Coblentz of Columbia passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Elkhart, IN. He was 44 years old. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Paul Grider officiating. Burial will follow in the Pellyton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday after 10amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. He was born in Snicksburg, PA on October 26, 1979, to Crist and Martha Hershberger Coblentz of Rossiter, PA who survives. Mr. Coblentz was a member of The Way Church and enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Katie Miller Coblentz of Columbia, KY; four sons Crist Coblentz of Rossiter, PA, Simon Coblentz (Hazel) of Columbia, KY, Aaron Coblentz of Columbia, KY and Mahlon Coblentz of Columbia, KY; expecting two grandchildren soon; three brothers, three sisters and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Crist, Simon, Aaron, and Mahlon Coblentz, Mahlon Miller, and William Miller. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
