Over half of voters in current poll, 56.41%, want county-wide zoning

Another 15.38% favor keeping city-only zoning
Issue has drawn a high number of comments

Voters who have cast votes in the current ColumbiaMagazine.com poll, "What's your opinion on Planning & Zoning (P&Z) in Adair CO?", favor county-wide zoning.

Over half the those casting votes, 56.41%, endorse the idea, while only 14.10 want to do away with what planning and zoning there is in the City of Columbia.


The poll has drawn a very high number of comments, 27, thus far. The results at this point are below:

  1. We need County-wide Planning & Zoning 56.41 % (44)

  2. City-only P&Z, what we have, is all we need. 15.38 % (12)

  3. Do away with Columbia P&Z. Let marketplace rule 14.10 % (11)

  4. It should discussed in 2006 election campaigns. 10.26 % (8)

  5. No opinion 3.85 % (3)
