Letter from Shirley Jones prompts Weed Ridge horse photo

A letter from a reader reminds us that we have another scenic photo of the Weed Ridge area to share. This winter picture is of three beautiful horses with a view of the ridge line in the background, behind the barn and the Cedar trees.

LETTER: Shirley Dudley Jones wrote to say . . .

I love your pictures of Adair County. I grew up between Gradyville and Weed Ridge, so I really enjoy those pictures.

Some times I just go to the pictures and look at all of them again.

Shirley ( Dudley ) Jones

There are hundreds of photos in the archives whenever readers need to look at our album of Adair County people and places. Just go to the site menu at the top left of the home page and select 'photo archive' to see them.

Photos appear five to a page, with an option to click to another page, and another, etc., all the way back to when we first began.

If you click on the other archive option, 'stories archive', in the site menu, it takes you to all the stories we've ever printed.

The search box in the site menu allows readers to type in a particular community or family name or general subject and look up any items in the archive that might match. A list of photo matches comes up, followed by stories on that subject.

We're grateful to Shirley for the reminder that there are others in our club of people who can't get enough scenic photos of home.
