Junior Ray Parson, 82, Metcalfe Co., KY native (1941-2023) Junior Ray Parson, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Hayes and Mazetta (Norris) Parson, was born April 16, 1941 in Metcalfe County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 82 years old. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Jesus Name Church and was a former maintenance and construction employee for the State of Kentucky, a constable and was a member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge # 124 F&AM. Junior enjoyed mowing and caretaking of the Arrowhead Ranch in Campbellsville. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Lois Kendall and Gladys and Marcella Parson as infants. Survivors include his wife of 37 years: Zelma Faye (Smith) Parson of Campbellsville; a daughter: Margaret Parson and husband Jeff Wheat of Campbellsville; two sons: Roy Parson and wife Dorothy of Russell Springs and Keith Wayne Parson and companion: Monica of Winchester. Also a brother: Wayne Parson of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Jason Tucker and wife Brandy, Megan Couarrubias and husband Seth, Shawna Shuffett and husband John and Lily Parson; three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
