Lillie Mae Rachel Bartle, 80, Adair Co., KY native (1943-2023) Lillie Mae Rachel Bartle of New Salisbury, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 in Corydon, Indiana. She was 80 years old. There will be a visitation held from NoonET to 2pmET on Friday, October 27, 2023, with service to follow, at Legacy Funeral Home, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, IN. Entombment will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She was born on February 15, 1943 in Little Cake, Kentucky daughter of Roy and Cleo Watson. Lillie worked for Walmart Stores for many years and was a dedicated employee and attended Church of Christ in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She had a passion for gardening, a love of flowers and her unwavering devotion to her family, which taught us to appreciate the beauty of life's simple pleasures. In addition to her parents, Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Bartle. She is survived by her sons; Tom Bartle and Terry Bartle; sister, Edna Webb(David); brothers, James Watson(Judy), Fred Watson(Bea); along with two grandchildren, Annelise and Hayden.
