Steve was born on January 18, 1956 in Burkesville, KY to James Chester Cooksey and Joyce Inell Watson Cooksey. He was a Financial Advisor at Cooksey Financial Services and Edwards Jones in Georgetown, KY, a member of Kiwanis in Georgetown, KY and a member of Burkesville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Cooksey and father-in-law, Tip Baker.
