Dale Roy, 69, Adair Co., KY (1954-2023)

Dale Roy of the Egypt Community died on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 9:00 A.M. at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. He was 69 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 7pmCT on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Paul Patton officiating.

Masonic rites will be conducted by Columbia Lodge #96 at 6pmCT on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home.

Visitation is requested after NoonCT on Friday.


He was born July 19, 1954, in Taylor County, to the late William Thomas "Tom" and Gladys Hancock Roy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Thomas "Bill" Roy, Jr. Dale was a member of Egypt Christian Church, a member of Columbia Lodge #96, a Kentucky Colonel and a former Road Construction worker.

Survivors include:
  • His wife - Lana Feese Roy of Columbia
  • One daughter and son-in-law - Amy and Bobby Keys of Columbia
  • One son and daughter-in-law - Ricky and Tressie Roy of Columbia
  • One brother - Mike Roy (Teresa) of Columbia
  • Two sisters - Faye Davidson of Columbia and Camellia Roy of Stanford
  • Six grandchildren - Kassidy Huddleston (Levi), Hunter Cundiff (Maddie), Brayden Burton, Riley Roy, Brady Cundiff, Caydee Burton
  • One great-grandchild - Ada Caroline Huddleston
  • "His Boy" - Spade
  • Several other relatives and friends
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate to the Egypt Christian Church Youth Fund which can be left at the funeral home
