Linda Sue Smith, 75, Campbellsville, KY (1948-2023) Linda Sue Smith of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James "Jim" Morris and Betty Lay Morris, was born, February 12, 1948 in Liberty, KY and departed this life on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at her residence. She was 75 years of age. She professed faith in Christ and attended Calvary Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters and one son: Tammy Taylor and husband Steve of Liberty, Scotty Thomas Smith Jr. and Kim Watson both of Campbellsville, along with ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, and one sister: Delitha Ellis of Liberty. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Bobby L. Derringer, second husband: Scotty T. Smith. One son: Michael Thomas Smith, one sister and two brothers: Ina Evans, Leverne Wilcher and Elbert Morris. The graveside service for Linda Sue Smith will be held at 1pmET on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Whited Cemetery in Casey Co. Bro. Darrell Tucker will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made in the form of donations to the funeral expenses and those can be made at the funeral home. L.R.
