Cody James Pierce, 25, Green County, KY

Cody James Pierce of Green County, KY, son of Scotty James Pierce and Brandy Gayle Vanarsdall Pierce both of Greensburg, was born on Monday, February 2, 1998 in Glasgow, Kentucky and departed this life on Thursday, October 12, 2023 in Green County. He was 25 years, 8 months, and 10 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and worked as a banker at PNC Bank. He loved motorcycles and the adrenaline of street racing. He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and kayaking. He was also a weightlifter and gamer.


Besides his parents, he is survived by a grandmother: Beverly Knight of Greensburg; a great-grandmother: Arvil Vanarsdall of Greensburg; a brother: Caleb Pierce of Greensburg; an aunt: Ricki Jo Pierce of Campbellsville; special cousins: Rachel and Gannen Durrett of Greensburg, Gracie Fonfara and Deric Hodge of Campbellsville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Cody James Pierce will be conducted at 11amCT Monday, October 16, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Judd Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 1-8 Sunday and after 7 Monday until time of the funeral service. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donations to the Judd Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

PALLBEARERS: Taylor Perkins, Zach Lobb, Dylan "Bob" Smith, Corey Rutledge, Hunter Curry, Austin Davis, Vince Parker, Trace Fisher.
